Authorities in Louisiana say a 6-ft alligator showed up at the front door of a Super 8 Motel outside Baton Rouge and bit a guest.
West Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff Mike Cazes reported his office received a call about an alligator around 4 pm Wednesday in Port Allen.
'I couldn’t believe something like that was out there,' the motel's front desk clerk Mitt Marszal told the Advocate.
The gator apparently bit one of the guests who tried to catch it before Animal Control workers showed up.
The man was taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries sustained.
Once Animal Control workers arrived, the gator was subdued within 5 minutes.
